When TWI loses one of it’s own due to a change in history, Jane is forced to go back to 1000 A.D. to make sure a Viking camp in Nova Scotia doesn’t become permanent. Unfortunately, she is forced to arrive with nothing but a sword and her bare skin. When the Viking in charge sees her appear in the snow, he jumps to the obvious conclusion that Jane is a Valkyrie who has fallen out of favor with Odin and while she serves her punishment on Migard, Odin expects him to protect her. It wasn’t her plan, but she goes with it, anxious to complete her mission and save her MIA twin brother who she has recently located. It also wasn’t her plan to feel anything for the man with so many scars that no woman will have him and whose goal in life is to leave behind a new home in the new land.
